Typical Tasks & Duties
- Assist with basic workshop tasks under supervision
- Observe installation of 4WD accessories (e.g. bull bars, roof racks)
- Help maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Support staff with simple stock handling and preparation
- Follow instructions from supervisors at all times
Student Requirements
- Strong interest in automotive or mechanical careers
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Positive attitude and reliability
- Ability to work safely in a workshop environment
Dress Requirements
- Closed-toe, sturdy shoes (steel-cap preferred if available)
- Long pants and appropriate work clothing
- Hair tied back (if applicable)
- No loose jewellery
Special Transport Requirements
- Students are responsible for organising their own transport to and from the workplace
- Ensure reliable transport is arranged prior to placement
