This is an exciting opportunity for auto students wishing to get involved in the 4wd automotive industry with an opportunity for placement at Gippsland Custom Accessories. With a strong recreational flavour, this placement would offer an interested student a great chance for meaningful work experience.

Skills You Might Learn

Industry skills attained include: hands on practical experience, observing and learning from highly qualified technicians, working with tools and diagnostic systems, listening to instructions and be shown how to maintain workshop records.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Working alongside the service team you will work on vehicle modifications and various mechanical tasks. You will work in a team, learn about accessing the vehicle and coming up with options for clients. You will also contribute daily to tidying and maintaining the workshop and workshop equipment.

Student Requirements

Student will have a strong interest in the automotive and auto electrical industry and preferably be enrolled in vocational training in Automotive.
You will have a strong desire to learn, a preparedness to work in the team environment and be punctual and reliable.

Dress Requirements

Workshop clothing Protective boots
No loose clothing, hair or jewellery.

Special Transport Requirements

Student to provide own transport
