Diesel Mechanic, Tyre fitter
Countrywide Tyers and Automotive

As part of our WE for Students initiative, we are partnering with Countrywide Tyres and Automotive in Mildura to explore real-world business opportunities and understand how local businesses grow and succeed.

Countrywide Tyres and Automotive is a well-known local business that provides tyre sales, repairs, and general automotive services. The business supports a wide range of customers, including everyday drivers, farmers, transport operators, and local companies. Because Mildura is a regional area where people rely heavily on vehicles for work and daily life, services like these are essential.

This opportunity allows us to learn how a small business operates in a regional community and how it can continue to grow. There is strong demand for reliable vehicle maintenance, especially in industries like agriculture and transport. This creates opportunities for Countrywide to expand its services and reach more customers.
Through our work, we can explore ideas such as:

• Improving customer experience and service efficiency
• Promoting the business through marketing and social media
• Expanding into mobile services or fleet servicing
• Finding new ways to attract and retain customers

By studying Countrywide Tyres and Automotive, we gain valuable insights into teamwork, problem-solving, and business strategy. This experience helps us understand how businesses respond to customer needs and adapt to changing conditions.

Overall, this opportunity gives us a practical way to apply our learning while supporting a local Mildura business to continue growing and contributing to the community.
