The placement is suitable for both Work Experience (WE) and Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) students, providing valuable exposure to a professional beauty and retail environment while developing workplace skills, product knowledge, customer service experience, and confidence.
Students will gain an understanding of how a professional beauty retail business operates, including customer service, product knowledge, stock management, merchandising, order preparation, and supporting beauty industry professionals and customers.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Students may assist with:

Learning about customer service and communication with beauty industry clients.
Supporting general administration and workplace organisation tasks.
Gaining an understanding of how a wholesale business supports salons and beauty professionals.
Have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

The workplace is located at Salon First, 54 Brindley Street, Dandenong South VIC 3175.
Students travelling by public transport can catch Bus Route 901 from Dandenong Station and connect to the Dandenong South area. Students should check their route and travel time before commencing placement to ensure they arrive on time.
