Pete is keen to offer work placement and is planning to offer an apprenticeship to the right person. His is a long established business in a bright and modern premises. Staff are friendly and very professional in carrying out their duties. Students can expect to have a range of learning experiences.

Skills You Might Learn

Students will have the opportunity to experience communication in the workplace, maintain tools and equipment and interact with clients.

Typical Tasks & Duties

In this placement students will maintain work areas by clearing stations after clients leave. Students will also apply salon safety procedures, greet and seat clients and learn to answer phones and book appointments.

Student Requirements

The students must have completed the OH&S module in WRS VM or else have begun the OH&S module in the relevant VET course.

Dress Requirements

Students are to wear neat casual dress appropriate for the work.

Special Transport Requirements

The studio is located in Campbell Street Swan Hill so students need to arrange a suitable means of travel.
