This business is located in a large modern warehouse. It sells an extensive range of farm related goods while offering agronomy services to farmers as well. The company has been involved with SWL previously and is keen to continue to do so. Staff are friendly and supportive and students will have the opportunity to experience a variety of learning situations.

Skills You Might Learn

Students will learn product knowledge and may possibly interact with customers while under supervision. They will learn to work as part of a team while helping to maintain work areas.

Typical Tasks & Duties

This position will include duties such as helping manage stock by working with other employees to assist them in their roles. Student will be expected to be an active participant in all workplace practices. This may well mean traveling around various clients properties.

Student Requirements

The students must have completed the OH&S module in WRS VM or else have begun the OH&S module in the relevant VET course.

Dress Requirements

Students are to wear neat casual dress appropriate for the work place plus sturdy work boots.

Special Transport Requirements

Students may need to organise their own transport to work. There is a bus service in Swan Hill though.
