A great opportunity has been offered in the Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Industry as an Administration Assistant with the Robinvale Golf Club.
The Robinvale Golf Club is situated approximately 3km from the township of Robinvale. Our course provides golfers with a unique opportunity to play on beautifully manicured fairways and greens set in natural native Mallee environment.
Our clubhouse has the facilities to handle a business meeting or that special group or family function. We cater from anything to birthdays, christenings, weddings, wakes, reunions, etc, large or small. Our bistro is open Tuesday through to Saturday, lunch 12pm to 2pm and dinner 6pm to 8.30pm.

Skills You Might Learn
Students will gain an understanding of and develop the basic skills related to working in the Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Industry – Administration Assistant.
Students will learn to work in a team, communicate effectively in the workplace, be punctual at all times, present at work in appropriate work attire, follow instructions, complete work with a good eye for detail and adhere to OH&S requirements at the work site.
Typical Tasks & Duties
The student will observe and spend time under the direct supervision of experienced and qualified administration staff assisting with general tasks and duties relating to administration in the Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Industry.
As an Administration Assistant you would look after the needs of guests on arrival and during their stay at the venue. Your duties may include general receptionist work, administration tasks, inform guests about the facilities whilst providing tourist information to guests. Further tasks and duties may include assisting with housekeeping as instructed and applying OH&S requirements for the Administration in the Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Industry.
Student Requirements
Whilst the student is attending the work experience placement they are expected to:
• Show a genuine interest in in the Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Industry – Administration Assistant.
• Be willing to observe, listen and learn while working in our team.
Dress Requirements
The student must be well presented and groomed as Administration staff work in full view of customers.
• Flat, non-slip, enclosed work shoes.
• Dark polo top and long pants.
• Long hair must be tied back, nails must be kept short and clean.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to the tasks and duties carried out by the student, will be supplied by the Host Employer.
Special Transport Requirements
Student to arrange own transport to and from work.
