Typical Tasks & Duties

Typical tasks and duties may include assisting with the sales of electrical appliances, DIY hobby supplies and the latest in consumer tech. Students may be required to assist with other departments if required, including bedding and white goods, maintenance, stocktake and assisting with deliveries to the community. During times when the store is not busy, students will be required to assist with merchandising and cleaning the store. Specific tasks will depend on the priorities of the day and the student's interests or capabilities.

Student Requirements

Students are required to be hard working and have a willingness to learn. Students will be supervised but also expected to show leadership and good customer service skills.

Dress Requirements

Neat casual clothing - work shirt may be provided depending on stock.
