Hello Music are a music education, production, and events business who are happy to host students studying a certificate in Business at their music studio. The $5 p/day payment will be done as one lump sum at the end of the placement, through a bank transfer.
Placements are available on Thursdays or Fridays and are for 5 days at a time, with an option to extend if both parties agree.
For 1 day per week Placements - placements should only be for a maximum of 5 weeks. A student can seek another 5 weeks (20 weeks maximum, as per guidelines) should both the student and employer agree after the commencement of the first placement.

This placement could align with your Certificate III in Music through the below units of competency:
CUAIND314 Plan a career in the creative arts industry
CUASOU308 Install and disassemble audio equipment
CUAIND313 Work effectively in the music industry

Students completing a placement here have the potential to gain: musical performance skills, performance preparation skills, developed knowledge of instruments and audio equipment, developed knowledge of the music industry.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students completing a placement here can expect to: Assist with the running of the music studio, working with instruments and audio equipment, assisting with music classes, working with children and teaching some music (optional), musical performance, media managing, assist with customers and their enquiries, deal with incoming emails and mail, carry out general office admin requirements.

Student Requirements

A working with Children Check is NOT required for students under the age of 18. If you are over the age of 18 this IS required and can be obtained for free via:

Students should have an interest in music. Students should also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, punctual, neat presentation, and have a polite manner.

Students are required to send through a cover letter outlining their skills and what they hope to get out of this placement.

Dress Requirements

Students should dress smart casual, neat and tidy. No hoodies, ripped jeans etc.

Public transport available, studio is 50m from Prahran station
