Skills You Might Learn

Along with skills in alignment with your Construction course, you will also have the opportunity to develop valuable transferrable skills including Communication, Problem Solving, Teamwork, Time Management, Using Technology.

Typical Tasks & Duties

You will have the opportunity to put your training into practice, starting with the basics (site and equipment maintenance, general labouring tasks). Bring your best attitude and work-ethic, so that your supervisor includes you in more complex tasks (using power tools, assisting with framing and fit-outs, reading and interpreting plans, etc.).

Student Requirements

Suited to a highly motivated and organised student currently undertaking related Construction VET. Employer is seeking a student with enthusiasm who is keen to start their career in the Construction industry. If you have the right attitude and motivation, Murray and the team can teach you the rest.

Dress Requirements

Student to provide their own steel capped boots. Employer will provide High Vis Gear in need. Other attire including PPE to be discussed at interview.

Special Transport Requirements

Student will be working on various sites. To be discussed directly with employer at interview.
A travel form will be required.
