Skills You Might Learn
Gain experience with all pre-school age groups. Develop positive and respectful relationships with children, assist with health and safety of children, interact positively with infants, toddlers and parents, participate in workplace health and safety, promote healthy eating.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will be involved in the following tasks: helping development in motor skills and other skills through activities, supporting children's wellbeing, preparing food and snacks, managing behaviour and social interaction between children.
Student Requirements
Students must be studying a Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Students will meet Serena for an interview and then if successful have SWL paperwork signed. A working with children's check and police check is required. Students must be enthusiastic about working with children.
Dress Requirements
Black pants and T-shirt/long sleeve top. Closed toe comfy shoes.
