Primary Care Connect is a community health service, servicing the Greater Shepparton, Moira Shire, and Strathbogie regions. We are a not-for-profit organisation providing health promotion, early intervention, chronic care management, safety support and recovery-focused community health services to people living in our catchment. We strive to support everyone in our community and particularly those who are disadvantaged or at risk, by taking the time to connect and listen to people’s health and wellbeing goals and empowering them to achieve these. Primary Care Connect are also committed to removing barriers to access care by providing outreach support, co-locating our services with other essential supports, and ensuring care is easy to access.

- Going out into the community promoting our services
- Assisting with health checks and client feedback
- Client session observation
- Basic administration tasks
- Assisting clinicians prepare for client consults
- Assisting outreach programs or gym classes
- Comply with OHS requirements
- Observe clinicians

Student Requirements

We are looking for students that have an interest within the Community Services or Health Industry. We have lots of different departments and would be able to provide many different opportunities in different sectors pending interest or pathway options.

Dress Requirements

Neat business attire is required.

Special Transport Requirements

We are located within a short walking distance of the main bus stop in the centre of Shepparton. There are a few public transport options available to get to Primary Care Connect, students to make there own way.
