Skills You Might Learn

Students will have the opportunity to work in stock control, perform maintenance of the workplace and interact with customers in a controlled, supervised environment.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will learn some product knowledge, interact with customers (with supervision) and work as part of a team. They will help maintain work areas and may learn to operate retail technology. Naturally they will apply safe working practices.

Student Requirements

The student must have completed the OH&S module in WRS VM or else have begun the OH&S module in the relevant VET course.

Dress Requirements

Neat casual clothes suited to a work place must be warn together with sturdy footwear.

Special Transport Requirements

There is a town bus service or students can make their own way to work.
