Students will be given an opportunity to operate in spare parts, office administration and have some exposure to the actual workshop. Skills You Might Learn

The use of basic administration and spare parts processes will be learnt. As well students will learn workplace communication in real life scenarios and work as part of a team.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Tasks will be around assisting other employees in their roles and the student will be expected to be an active participant in all workplace practices. They will work as part of a team while under regular supervision. Assisting in the admin centre and the spare parts section will keep students busy. They will also observe the action in the actual workshop.

Student Requirements

The students must have completed the OH&S module in WRS VCAL or else have begun the OH&S module in the relevant VET course.

Dress Requirements

Students are to wear neat casual dress appropriate for the work place plus sturdy shoes.

Special Transport Requirements

Students may need to organise their own transport to work but there is a bus service in Swan Hill.
