The student will be involved in a wide variety of tasks. This will ensure that every day is different and will involve delivering food and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining the service area, basic food preparation and safety, washing up and general cleaning.

The Housekeeping role is critical to the effective operation of the Hotel. The main component of this role is to perform general cleaning duties, report any maintenance or damage to the housekeeping supervisor, aesthetic upkeep of rooms, public areas, and back areas. Specifically, the role will involve dusting, vacuuming, mopping and surface cleaning of all assigned areas. Ensure all rooms and common areas are clean, sanitised and presentable. Restock and replenish supplies, such as toiletries, towels and other amenities.

Student Requirements

The student in the Food and Beverages area may have previous experience in a similar role, or may be a customer service superstar in a different industry, either way we would love to hear from you. There are a few things that will make you shine in this role: having energy and a positive attitude, a genuine customer service focus and a dedication to always making our guests smile during their stay. We are seeking someone who goes the extra mile to provide a memorable guest experience with the ability to multitask, work under pressure and think on your feet to quickly advise and offer suggestions. If you are an energetic hospitality student with a passion for customer service, give it a go.

Working as a Housekeeper will give you the opportunity to build up your hospitality career within a stable, secure and reputable organisation.
