A great opportunity has been offered in the Beauty Services Industry as a Beauty Therapy Assistant at Endota Spa.

This placement will provide you with a range of opportunities to develop your skills while working alongside experienced staff. Endota Spa is offering this opportunity to students who have a passion to work in the Beauty Services field.

Skills You Might Learn

Students will gain an understanding of and develop the basic skills related to work in the Beauty Services Industry – Beauty Therapy.

Students will learn to work in a team, communicate effectively in the workplace with clients and staff, be punctual at all times, present at work in appropriate work attire, follow instructions, complete work with a good eye for detail and adhere to OH&S requirements at the work site.

Students will also have the opportunity to learn about Endota Spa products.

Typical Tasks & Duties

The student will observe and spend time under the direct supervision of qualified and experienced staff assisting with general Beauty Therapy tasks and duties.

Tasks and duties may include assisting with room setup, cleaning and laundry, administration duties, client card entry, stock receive, stock pricing, merchandising, replenishing supplies and brochures and start/end of day setup and closure. The student will be required to safely use manual handling technique and aids and adhere to OH&S requirements as instructed.

Student Requirements

Whilst the student is attending the work experience placement they are expected to:
• Show a genuine interest in the Beauty Services Industry – Beauty Therapy.
• Be willing to observe, listen and learn while working in our team.
• Be punctual at all times.
• To present at the placement in accordance with the Dress Requirements.

Dress Requirements

The student will be required to present at work in suitable work attire as follows;
• Closed soft toe shoes.
• Uniform will be supplied and student is required to keep it clean and have it ironed daily.
• Neat hair to be tied back.
• Light day make up to be applied.
• No visible piercings (other than ears).
• No visible tatoos.
• Well groomed and hygienic.

Special Transport Requirements

Student to arrange own transport to and from work.
