Hello Music are a music education, production and events business happy to host students studying a Certificate in Music at their studio. The $5 daily payment will be paid as one lump sum at the end of placement (via bank transfer) Student is to provide bank details at the meet and greet.
SWL Placements are available for Thursdays or Fridays, with an option to extend if both parties agree. For SWL Placements - Placements should only be for a maximum of 5 weeks. A student can seek another 5 weeks (20 weeks maximum, as per guidelines) should both the student and employer agree after the commencement of the first placement.
This placement could align with your Certificate III in Music through the below units of competency:
CUAIND314 Plan a career in the creative arts industry
CUASOU308 Install and disassemble audio equipment
CUAIND313 Work effectively in the music industry

Skills You Might Learn
Students completing placement at Hello Music have the potential to gain: musical performance skills, performance preparation skills, knowledge of instruments and audio equipment, and knowledge of the music industry.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students completing a placement here can expect to: Assist with the running of the music studio, work with instruments and audio equipment, assist with music classes, work with children and teach some music (optional). Also, musical performance, media managing, assisting with customer enquiries, incoming emails and mail, and general office admin requirements.
Student Requirements
A working with Children Check (WWC) is not required for students under the age of 18. If you are over the age of 18 a WWC is required and can be obtained for free via:

Students should have an interest in music and should also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, punctual, have neat presentation and a polite manner.
Students are required to send through a cover letter outlining their skills and what they hope to get from this placement.
Dress Requirements
Students should dress smart casual, neat and tidy. No hoodies, ripped jeans etc.
Special Transport Requirements
Public transport available, studio is 50m from Prahran station.
