They have opportunities for students studying Warehousing in their on-site warehouse, where you will have the chance to assist with day to day operations of the warehouse, dispatch and receiving.

These opportunities are one day per week and are committed to providing a valuable learning environment. Placement at National Tiles has the potential to lead to employment for the right student. This opportunity is located close to public transport.

Placements are 5 days long with potential to extend if both parties agree.

This placement could align with your Certificate III in Logistics/Supply Chain Operations through the below units of competency:
TLID1001 Shift materials safely using manual handling methods
TLIF0009 Ensure the safety of transport activities (Chain of Responsibility)
BSBOPS304 Deliver and monitor a service to customers

Typical Tasks & Duties

Some of the tasks required include assisting order pickers, assisting inwards, assisting with dispatch, stock-take, re-stacking and packing. All activities will be under close supervision.

Student Requirements

Physically capable (able to lift 30 kgs), Basic math skills (counting), literacy skills, English language skills. Please note, this company drug test their staff and there is a possibility students could be drug tested for safety purposes.

Dress Requirements

Safety boots, durable pants.
