A placement opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and committed student to work alongside an experienced and friendly bricklayer. Mistri Bricklaying offer professional bricklaying, operating in the Northern and other regions of Melbourne. They are undertaking all types of brick work jobs to the highest standard. They are fully qualified, skilled and licensed bricklayer with high levels of knowledge and expertise.

Skills You Might Learn

The student is expected to gain skills in: - Bricklaying - Communication within the workplace - Problem solving - Self-management - Creativity - Correct body management for heavy work - Interpersonal skills.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Some of the tasks and duties may include: - Mixing and pouring mortar - Setting up scaffolding - Bricklaying - Hosing/cleaning mixer - Cleaning worksite Other tasks may be delegated depending on students experience.

Student Requirements

A positive attitude, punctual, good manners and able to work on feet all day and be strong.

Dress Requirements

The student must wear protective clothing, safety footwear (steel cap boots), hat and sunscreen.

Special Transport Requirements
