This is a position for a panel beating placement. We are looking to welcome a mechanically minded student who is passionate about repairing cars and gaining a hands-on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in the automotive industry. Valuable experience can be gained in a number of areas including panel beating, detailing, spray painting, working alongside industry professionals and general workshop requirements. The team are friendly and work together to provide very high levels of customer service.

Typical Tasks & Duties

This opportunity will expose you to both spray painting and panel beating of new and old cars.
General duties could include;
* Dismantling Cars
* Assisting with cleaning and preparing cars
* You may use specialized tools to repair damaged vehicle bodies or manipulate body panels to modify the shape of a vehicle
* Sanding and masking
* Spray painting
* Assist with manipulating, repairing, and also replacing a number of materials such as alloys and steels, fibre glass, plastics, and carbon fibre.
* Ensuring that the workshop is clean and tidy
* Assisting qualified tradesmen in the workshop on a daily basis as required

Student Requirements

Students are required to be hard working, have a willingness to learn, have good communication skills and have a keen interest in repairing vehicles.

Dress Requirements

Students are required to wear safety boots and wear sturdy and warm work clothes.
