This is a fantastic opportunity for a student with keen interest in bush foods, gardening, plants and horticulture to undertake a work experience placement. The student will have the opportunity to gain a vast range of experience and knowledge working at this native farm that has it's own cafe on site.

Skills You Might Learn

During your placement, you will gain a vast range of skills including:
- An introduction to gardening and horticulture
- Knowledge of the industry and native plants
- Hands-on practical experience
- Teamwork and communication
- Manual handling practices
- Employability skills

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will gain a vast variety of exposure to the horticulture industry. Your tasks and duties may include, but will not be limited too:
- Gardening and maintenance
- Weed control
- Garden establishment

Student Requirements

Students should have a keen interest in the horticulture industry and a willingness to learn.

Dress Requirements

Students should be dressed appropriately for working outdoors
