Typical Tasks & Duties

Students on this placement will be predominately working alongside the warehousing staff. They will learn how to safely and effeciently work in the warehousing area. Students will assist in unloading the produce and products from the truck as well as gaining knowledge and understanding in visual merchandising through stacking products on shelves and putting up ticketing for pricing and promotions.

Student Requirements

Students will need to have a helpful and courteous manner, be willing to listen and adhere to strict instructions and directions (especially in the warehousing area). Students will need to encompass a neat personal appearance and not be afraid of heavy lifting and being on their feet for extended periods of time.

Dress Requirements

Tidy neat clothes with covered shoes

Student will need to make their own way to the placement
