Once you have completed an SWL placement with this employer you will be welcomed aboard to complete a pre-apprenticeship.

Skills You Might Learn

Complementing your existing skills, you gained from doing your SWL you will be trained in the following areas:
all facets of electrical. DC (12v) through to 240v.
installing solar panels and inverters.
Fully automated systems for power
Installing, terminating, and testing electrical installations for custom projects alongside our qualified electricians
to gain the skills you will need to become qualified yourself.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Working across multiple projects, large and small throughout the houseboat industry.
Assisting Tradesmen with all day to day tasks - under bench lighting, overhead lighting, installing autopilot, GPS navigation, with depth sounders to put your mind at ease as your coming into a secluded cove.
Working efficiently as a part of a team to complete tasks at hand all to be able to gain the skills to be able to do the task independently.
