W122734 - Joiner/ cabinet maker

Joiner/ cabinet maker
Alic's Kitchens

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic student to undertake a SWL placement with an experienced and friendly cabinet maker at Alic's Kitchens. This is a small business that focuses on providing clients with high-quality kitchens and cabinets that are built to last. Their friendly staff will work with clients to develop a design that will suit their home. Alic's Kitchens are able to design and build all types of kitchens, from traditional designs with ornate handles and cornices, through to minimalist contemporary kitchens with smooth lines and handle-less doors.

Emphasising quality over quantity, Alic's Kitchens take pride in every kitchen they design and build. They will always consider ease of use and work with clients to determine which design elements are most important to them.

The student will initially undertake a two week block placement and if Edin and the student are both happy, Edin will offer the placement for a further 10 weeks on a one day per week basis for ten weeks. At the end of it if both the students and Edin are happy with the student performance, Edin will offer the placement until t end of the year and if successful the student may be offered an apprenticeship. Only students who are really interested in Cabinet making should apply.
