Mawarra Op Shop and sorting centre and Vintage Vibe by Knoxbrooke has work placement opportunities available in a supportive environment. Students who have an interest in supporting their local community are encouraged to apply.
You may have the opportunity to work in the sorting centre assisting with the sorting and recycling of donations. There may be opportunities to assist with collection of donated furniture and goods.
You might enjoy working in the retails outlet setting up displays and working in a retail environment serving customers.

Typical Tasks & Duties

• Maybe you would like to get creative and design eye-catching window displays?
• Or perhaps you are a treasure hunter and can spot a designer brand a mile off!
• Or maybe you prefer a more physical role of transporting and sorting donations?
• Or you love to connect with people working on the register and shop floor?

These are only a few examples of the tasks you may be doing!

Student Requirements

This role involves dealing with people from all walks of life on a daily basis, so a welcoming personality is essential
If you have a passion for helping your community and environment, a positive attitude, want to make new friends and learn more from a successful retailer, we’d love to hear from you!
Students 18 or over are required to do a Working with Children and Police Check prior to placement commencement.

This employer requires all students to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless a documented medical exemption applies.
