Position- Creative Design / Social Media / Event Management
The Horsham Show is one the regions most loved and longest running events, it is managed by the Horsham Agricultural Society who spend many months preparing and promoting this wonderful community event.
This position will require a student to have creative flair and excellent communication skills to boost the Horsham Shows social media profile via Facebook, Insta, Twitter, SnapChat and Tik Tok.
This tech loving student will have access to a laptop and iphone to update the Horsham Show website, learn promotional programs such as Canva, Word Press and Splice to create marketing and promotional material.

Skills You Might Learn

This placement will provide students with valuable 'hands-on experience' and the opportunity to learn from experienced industry professionals.
Students will have the opportunity to attain a broad range of skills while on SWL placement. These skills include valuable general employability skills in communication, teamwork, problem solving, planning and technology.

Students may also attain vital industry specific skills which will relate to their studies including:

- Working with tools and equipment necessary to the occupation and business

Typical Tasks & Duties

Student will be working in an office and around the site under supervision to design and create social media posts across multiple platforms.
Create signage for show events and competitions
Build powerpoint presentation of photo entries for the Horsham Show
Help to develop layouts and checklist for show events and competitions.

Student Requirements

This business is interested in a highly motivated student who is reliable, independent and thorough. Student should have knowledge in the social media industry and should have skills that pertain to his industry.
