Rochester Community House is a community resource that strives to provide a place where people in the area find new friendships, new interests and links in the area. Rochester Community House is governed by a committee of management consisting of up to 11 members of the local community and provides a warm and supportive workplace.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Typical tasks and duties may include but not limited to:
Working alongside adults with disabilities
Helping adults complete different tasks
Doing/assisting with craft activities with the adults
Assisting other volunteers and teachers
Assisting various levels of abilities with the adults
Student Requirements
This opportunity is suited to someone with an interest in the community service area as well as working with people with disabilities. They should be comfortable around people, be eager to help in a wide range of areas within the community house.
Dress Requirements
Well groomed and neat, office style attire.
Special Transport Requirements
Students to make own transportation arrangements.
