Typical Tasks & Duties
Some of the tasks and duties that will be required to be undertaken by the student include:
- Administrative and warehousing, although they will not be using motorised equipment
- Picking and packaging of goods
- Handling, labeling and dispatching of goods
- Stock control and maintenance
- Housekeeping and general upkeep of the warehouse
- Some data entry
- Adhering to warehouse and logistics procedures.
Student Requirements
The student must be good with numeracy and literacy and able to follow instructions and to work safely. They will be willing to seek assistance from their Manager as required. The student should be able to work in a team and have good communication skills and the ability to travel and work independently.
Dress Requirements
The student must wear comfortable clothing and comfortable non-slip closed toes shoes.
