Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will have the opportunity to observe and assist highly experienced service technicians in the service department. Each experience will vary depending on a student's areas of interest, training and ability. Some of the duties may include use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment, application of safe work practices, observation of basic vehicle servicing operations. This is a busy employer offering genuine opportunities for young people to try out the industry and to progress and grow.
Student Requirements
As the role is physically demanding at times, the ability to cope with a physical role is essential. Students should have an interest in Motor Trade. They should also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, punctual, neat presentation, and have a polite manner.
Dress Requirements
Students are to wear neat casual dress appropriate for the work place plus sturdy work boots.
