Typical Tasks & Duties

• Assist with activities and programs
• Read to children
• Assist in maintaining a clean environment
• Work with children to create a painting, story or creative item
• Prepare food if appropriately qualified (ie Food
• Handlers)
• Assist in feeding clients
• Follow policies and procedures for allergy management
• Follow polices in regards of sun safety for clients
• Be aware of how to deal problem behaviours
• Maintain a hygienic workplace

Student Requirements

• Suitable for VCE or VCAL student as only one day out of school a week. Applicants from year 10 and 11 welcome to apply.

Dress Requirements

Dress requirements during placements are neat, tidy, suitable and safe for the particular work environment. Uniform provided.
