Typical Tasks & Duties

Assisting kitchen and service staff in preparing, serving food, cleaning food preparation, restaurant service areas, kitchen, sculleries, cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurants. Transferring, weighing and checking supplies and equipment. Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking, and preparing salads, savouries and sandwiches, plating food and beverages for serving. Providing quality attentive customer service under supervision.

Be willing to ask questions and learn and to take instruction

Dress Requirements

Wear black coloured slacks or a skirt, a solid coloured button down, collared shirt and comfortable closed toe shoes. Chef uniform would be ideal if student does have one.

Special Transport Requirements

Student to make own transportation arrangements.
