Coolabah Turf have an exciting opportunity for a student to undertake a Sales Traineeship. The traineeship includes on the job training, mentoring, industry skills and an opportunity to learn about all areas of the sales/retail business. The student will develop great customer service skills and work with the latest technology. This exciting opportunity will head towards a Certificate II in Retail Services or Business Administration and the possibility of a full time job upon completion.

Typical Tasks & Duties

During the traineeship, the student will:
Observe the sales process by assisting sales representatives in acquiring new business
Practice and test sales strategies by assisting new and existing clients
Maintain and develop relationships with clients
Assist customers in providing them with information on products and product quotes
Provide additional administrative support to sales representatives

Student Requirements

The student must be good with numeracy and literacy and able to follow instructions and to work safely. They will be willing to seek assistance from their Manager as required. The student should be able to work in a team and have good communication skills.

Dress Requirements

Clean, neat and tidy appearance with closed toe leather shoes (steel capped required when working in a warehouse).

Special Transport Requirements

Student to make own transport arrangements
