Skills You Might Learn
Students will be assisted to learn good communication and customer service skills to be able to educate their customers on maintaining their vehicles so that they retain the shiny look and trimming for a longer period.
Students interested in Vinyl wrapping are expected to develop basic skills in measurement, installation, ability to communicate with their customers and update on progress of the work being carried out on the vehicle.
Typical Tasks & Duties
As a Car Detailer you will be expected to assist staff with cleaning vehicles according to company standards or client specifications, which may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors, and keeping records related to gas levels and the condition of the vehicle.
The duties and responsibilities of a vinyl wrap installer are to plan the installation and make precise measurements. An employer sometimes requires wrap installers to work with other materials, such as window tinting laminate.
Student Requirements
Students interested in this placement must have good attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods. Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.
Dress Requirements
Hearing and eye protection supplied as required. Must wear work pants and a T-Shirt/jumper depending on weather. Steel capped boots. Neat and tidy appearance at all times.
Special Transport Requirements
