During your Work Experience placement, you will work with a brilliant team to provide exceptional customer service and technical parts support for agricultural machinery to their customers and internal departments.

Skills You Might Learn

In this position, you will work with the team to provide exceptional customer service and technical parts support for agricultural machinery to our customers and the service department. You will learn to source and identify parts from electronic catalogues, manuals and databases.

This placement will provide students with valuable 'hands-on experience' and the opportunity to learn from experienced industry professionals.

Students will have the opportunity to attain a broad range of skills while on work experience placement. These skills include valuable general employability skills in communication, teamwork, problem solving, planning and technology.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Talk to customers to find their needs
Identify the make, model and variations of automotive equipment
Check databases to identify and locate parts
Order parts from warehouse and external suppliers
Calculate tax, discounts and prices
Assist with preparing invoices for the sale of parts/stock
Observe the processing of cash and credit transactions
Collect, pack and dispatch ordered parts
Participate in stocktaking and update databases
Assist customers in repairing or replacing parts
Set up merchandise displays

Student Requirements

Students will:
