An exciting opportunity exists for a Work Experience placement at Kyabram District Health Services. Students will extend their knowledge of the health industry, gain a greater understanding of the various roles and professions within a rural facility, learn about Occupational Health and Safety protocols and apply their training in a practical setting.

Typical Tasks & Duties
During this placement, students will accompany and observe health professionals
Take part in lifestyle activities
Assist with an Allied Health program
Interpret medical terminology
Comply with infection control policies
Student Requirements
Students with a positive attitude towards Health who are self-motivated, have a consistent and good work ethic and are willing to listen and follow instructions are encouraged to consider this placement.
Dress Requirements
The student must be well presented, clean and hygienic.
Flat, non-slip, enclosed black work shoes.
Long hair must be tied back, nails must be kept clean.
Student to confirm uniform requirements with employer.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to the tasks and duties carried out by the student, may be supplied by the Host Employer.
