Michael Piastrino is the owner and proud winner of the 2017 Victorian Hairdresser of the Year Award - together with co-worker Adrian Rotolo winning both the 2016 and 2017 awards for Colour Technician & Colour Specialist of the Year. They are happy to host work experience students who are interested in hairdressing.

Communication skills, teamwork, customer service, product knowledge, blow drying, exposure to hairdressing booking systems and washing hair.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Shampoo hair, keeping the salon clean and tidy, making customer’s tea/coffee, general housekeeping, greeting customers, getting equipment ready for the qualified hairdresser and assisting other staff members as required.

Student Requirements

Students undertaking a placement with Ibiza Hair should be interested in hairdressing, have a creative flair, be open to learn, passionate and energetic, polite, well presented.

Dress Requirements

Closed toe shoes, neat presentation. Rest to be discussed at meet and greet

Special Transport Requirements

Close to public transport.
