If you are looking for the best possible start to your hospitality career, then this placement is for you! This lovely cafe offers a delicious home made menu and you will gain many desired skills to help you on your career journey. As a kitchen operations assistant, you would be involved in basic food preparation, food storage, stock management and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy. PLEASE NOTE THAT A FOOD HANDLING CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS PLACEMENT.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Assisting kitchen and service staff in preparing and serving food and food preparation. Cleaning of restaurant service areas, kitchen, sculleries, cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurants. Transferring, weighing and checking supplies and equipment. Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking and preparing salads, savouries and sandwiches, plating food and beverages for serving. Providing quality attentive customer service under supervision.

Dress Requirements
Black pants, plain black top, closed toe shoes, hair tied back, no jewellery.
