Typical Tasks & Duties
During your work placement, your duties will be:
Assisting the receptionist and gain experience in a reception/administration role
Assisting clients to complete enrolment forms
Handling cash - receipting/balancing float
Answering telephone
Photocopying
General public enquiries
Using the computer to check emails and respond accordingly
Prepare program activities - boxes for tutors
Maintain tidiness of reception area
Students may also have the opportunity to participate in the Art Craft Program by:
Engaging students from local school/s in craft activities
Preparing and tidying up at the end of the session
Student Requirements
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and have entry level computer skills.
Enjoy using Social Media to promote programs, develop news feeds and promote Community Programs.
Be able to work with a diverse group of volunteers and paid staff in a community program environment.

Neat business attire
Special Transport Requirements
Student to make own transportation arrangements
