With many years of experience supporting students, this employer provides opportunities to gain hands-on experience in many aspects of the building industry including sourcing logs, sawmilling, kilning, milling and flattening timber slabs that customers will turn into dining tables. You will be supervised by skilled tradesmen and included as part of the team.

Basic Use of hand tools

Typical Tasks & Duties
Provide assistance to qualified trades people.
General set up and clean up of work sites.
Work site preparation, can include digging and lifting.
Sourcing logs, sawmilling, kilning, milling and flattening timber slabs that customers will turn into dining tables.
Handling of building materials, as well as some heavy lifting.
