Skills You Might Learn
Students may learn how to use hand and power tools to build custom made joinery and installation.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will collaborate closely with supervisors to construct custom made joinery and more.
You need a genuine interest in the trade and have strong willingness to work in this area. Interested students needs to be punctual, hardworking, able to listen and take direction, be capable of showing initiative.
Please check with employer regarding any COVID safe practices and immunisation requirements before starting placement.
***Students must provide their own steel-capped boots, pants, and all other protective clothing requirements.
Special Transport Requirements
You can take bus 857 from Dandenong train station and get off after 10 stops in Greens Rd/Hammond Rd, where you will need to walk for only 6 minutes (600m) to reach the factory. Your parents can also drop you off at the Sana Interiors Furniture factory.
