Would you like to gain hands on experience with a well known burger chain that started in July 1941! Carl Karcher and his wife, Margaret, began with a hot dog cart and a dream, by 1956, the hot dog cart had become Carl’s Jr.®. Today, Carl’s Jr.® is one of the largest burger brands in the world, with over 3,800 restaurants in over 42 countries. This popular restaurant specializes in burgers and ice-cream shakes - with table service! You will be provide hands on training and casual or part time work will be offered to the right student.
Skills You Might Learn
Students will have the opportunity to build on their: communication skills, customer service skills, OH&S knowledge, team work, a variety of back of house and front of house skills along with food hygiene and kitchen operations knowledge while working in a busy environment. There is also the opportunity to learn register operation. Work placement may lead to casual part time employment for the right person.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will be involved in various facets of kitchen operations, food preparation including peeling, cutting, weighing, measuring, cleaning. To be successfully considered for this position a student must have a keen interest in hospitality, have a neat appearance and work as part of a team
