Nichol Trading are offering an exciting opportunity for a Work Experience Placement as a Diesel Mechanic/Mechanic's Assistant. Nichol Trading are one of the largest fertiliser retailers in Northern Victoria. Students with a genuine interest in Mechanics are encouraged to apply.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will be involved in:
Shadowing the mechanic
Observing the correct use of tools
Assisting our qualified workshop team with services and preventative maintenance to a fleet of modern transport vehicles and ag-related machinery
Follow OH&S procedures

Student Requirements

Students must be keen and ready to learn
Must be punctual
Must be willing to be part of a team

Dress Requirements

Safety Boots, Hi Vis Shirt, Hi Vis Pants

Special Transport Requirements

Student to make own transportation arrangements
