A specialised nursery with three large production sites and a retail nursery in Melbourne’s South-Eastern suburbs. We employ around 120 full-time staff and produce over 3 million plants each year which are distributed Australia-wide. Our range includes cacti, succulents, bonsai, bromeliads, airplants, orchids, hoyas, indoor & terrarium plants, lucky bamboo, and carnivorous plants and other specialty lines. Available from Term 3 & 4 2024.

In total we have over 40,000 sq. metres of covered greenhouses and glasshouses as well as 10,000 metres of covered outdoor areas and plan a further 16,000 sq. metres of development over the next two years.Continuing business expansion presents future employment opportunities for self-motivated persons interested in pursuing a career in the horticulture industry. Typical Tasks & Duties

Potting of plants, propagation of stock, preparing products for sale. Maintaining Ideal Plant health and growing conditions including weeding, watering, cleaning, pest identification, stock movement and other associated duties.

Student Requirements

Students must be studying or have a genuine interest in horticulture. This role is physically demanding - students will be required to stand at work benches, move plants and engage in other physically demanding activities. Dress Requirements

• Sturdy, comfortable closed – toed shoes or boots
• Comfortable clothing to suit the weather

• Located in Officer
• Own transport is easiest. Limited public transport is available.
• Nearest bus stop is Officer Recreation Reserve, then 1.5km walk..
