Carpentry and Maintenance Work
Spend a week shadowing and assisting the Murray River Council carpenter. The student will learn skills and assist with a variety of jobs. If you are serious and motivated to complete your work placement learning under the guidance of a highly qualified trained professional, this work placement is for you!

Typical Tasks & Duties
• Identify and select correct tools
• Prioritise tasks
• Painting
• Welding
• Concreting
• Repair of timber assets. Eg. bridged and facilities
• Travel to different sites in the Council area
