We are looking for 2-4 students with connections to Echuca, Echuca United and Moama football/netball clubs to be our roving mics during the winter season. We want students to have the opportunity to show their talents through their own 'show'.

Skills You Might Learn

They will learn more about what journalist and photographers do on a daily basis.
They will have their skills tested with technology and the world of multi-media.
They will learn how to prepare before interviewing people and how to prepare questions.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will be able to do interesting, funny, newsy, quirky bits with their teammates throughout the competition. Their work will be shown on a weekly basis.This will be run through the Riv's Instagram, Facebook and website. We will pair the student with a journalist and/or photographer to show them how to do basic setups on their phones and help them with planning questions.

Student Requirements

Students need to have an interest in journalism or photography. Students will be required to interview people throughout the season.

Dress Requirements

Students are required to dress neatly and presentable.
