An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated young person to undertake a Work Experience Placement as an Agronomist. If you have a genuine interest in agriculture, then this placement is for you!

Skills You Might Learn

Students will learn product knowledge and may possibly interact with clients while under supervision. They will learn to work as part of a team while assisting the agronomists with crop monitoring tasks including taking samples and counts.

Typical Tasks & Duties

This position will include duties such as helping the agronomist and other employees to assist them in their roles. The student will be expected to be an active participant in all workplace activities.

Student Requirements

The student must have completed the OH&S module in their relevant VET course.

Dress Requirements

Students are to wear neat casual dress appropriat for the work place plus sturdy work boots.

Special Transport Requirements

Student to make own transport arrangements.
