Typical Tasks & Duties
As part of this placement, you will be working as part of the MYER team in the cosmetics department and various retail departments. Duties during placement could include any of the following tasks and duties: * Stock control and maintenance - replenishing goods * Customer Service - 'See, smile and say hello' * Merchandising - Learning merchandising standards, de-boxing, visual merchandising and displays * Housekeeping - general upkeep of the store.
Student Requirements
Students are required to complete a separate online MYER application process for the placements, which will also cover all the necessary work safety information. This must be completed before starting the placement, and further details will be provided during the interview. Students must send a resume and cover letter and take the initiative to do this independently. Students are not expected to know particular skills but will need to be: * Keen * Willing to learn * Ready to develop their skills * Punctual
Dress Requirements
Students must wear black closed-toe and closed-heel shoes. No branded clothing, no leggings and hoodies.
