NTI Process Solutions is an engineering company specialising in steel conveyor belts, providing service, spares, upgrades and customised solutions to customers with the aim of improving their efficiency and output. We typically work with companies both large and small in the baking, chocolate, chemical and wood industries throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Skills You Might Learn

Typical Tasks & Duties
Typical duties will vary depending on the day and location.
Campbellfield workshop:
• Measuring and designing parts
• Tig welding
• Machining parts using a lathe or milling machine
• Cutting and preparing material
• Reading engineering drawings and manuals
• Drilling holes and tapping threads
• Checking and preparing equipment for site work
Site work:
• Assisting with a routine inspection on a machine and writing condition reports
• Measuring components for upgrades or replacement
• Assisting with repairing damage on steel bands
• Troubleshooting breakdowns and locating performance issues
• Talking directly with on site maintenance personnel and managers regarding their machinery
Student Requirements
• Reliability and punctuality in attendance
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• An interest in industrial machines or manufacturing
• Confidence to speak up when identifying a hazard
• Willingness to learn and a desire to achieve results to a high standard
Dress Requirements
• Steel capped safety shoes
• High visibility industrial clothing – pants are a must, short or long sleeve shirts are ok. Clothing must also be clean if visiting food customers.
• Long hair to be tied back – if applicable
• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection
• cut proof and/or chemical resistant gloves
• face shield and suitable dust mask for grinding
