This is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn in a fast paces hospitality role and has the real potential to lead into casual/part time work.
Working in either the front of house or kitchen, students will be able to learn every facet of the chain.
Skills You Might Learn
Cash handling, customer service, stock take and packing, food and drink preparation as well as food safety practices. Students will learn the point of sales system as well as how to multitask and work effectively as part of a team.
Typical Tasks & Duties
In the Front of house position, students will typically take orders for our drive-thru and take away customers. This will involve using the Point of sale system, cash handling, order packing (with accuracy), re-stocking our drink fridges, sorting packaging, cleaning (keeping the restaurant tidy at all times, including the customer toilets).
Kitchen- This role ideally involves doing all Prep and cooking for customers orders, we have 3 stations - Burger, Chicken and fried. Here they will learn how to make burgers, wraps, rolls, use the fryer, and cook fried chicken.
Student Requirements
Students need to be energetic, eager to learn, responsible and reliable. Having the right attitude will ensure success within this position.
Dress Requirements
Students will need to wear closed black shoes that are comfortable. Any further uniform will be provided
Special Transport Requirements
Public transport is available in the area and plenty of parking available throughout the shopping centre.
