During placement students will gain a number of skills including customer service skills, point of sale, operational procedures, merchandising and teamwork.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Welcome customers into the store and respond to their enquiries. Learn about Good Food Emporium's range of local organic, eco-friendly and sustainable products. Perform various tasks including point of sale transactions, unpack deliveries and merchandise shelves.

Student Requirements

Students should have an energetic and enthusiastic approach willing to deal with a wide range of customers. Must be able to work as a team and respond to direction.

Dress Requirements

Neat and tidy appearance wearing black clothing with sleeves and closed toe shoes.

Special Transport Requirements

Accessible by public transport. Walking distance to Narre Warren station.
